The objective was to get RdC started on their internationalisation strategy to expand into southern EU and coach their technical teams on the architecture of a multi-language platform.
The audit of their systems, activities and organization involved multiple interviews; mind-maps were used to collect and present the information. Project communication and documentation was achieved using an internal weblog and weekly meetings. The blog resulted in an active participation of all stakeholders that used it to comment and review the business specifications. |
The core of their internationalized frontend, a first version of the business and technical specifications and final scope for the overall project were delivered within the targeted 2 months timeframe. Their Spanish site launched in July 2006: avenidadelcomercio.es |
